Why would two Australian guys start a feminine care company?
It all began when a friend of ours returned to her native Brazil and couldn't find any natural tampons. As serial entrepreneurs always on the lookout for the next big opportunity, we started strategizing ways to break into the Brazilian market. We never dreamed we'd be jumping headfirst into the world of feminine care. (After all, how would we explain that to our mates on the rugby team!).
We soon found that these products were also in short supply—and with a much higher price tag—in the U.S. and elsewhere. As we learned more about the health risks of synthetic feminine products, we set out to change all that.
From there, our vision grew to build a life-changing business for women—with our products, our philanthropic work, and our eco-friendly practices.
What We Stand for
What began as an attractive business opportunity is now a global corporation exemplifying the best in triple bottom line philosophies, with expanding programs to assist women and children around the world.
"Triple bottom line" means that we measure success according to three factors:
Customers.Providing women access to high-quality, affordable natural products.
Environment.Using eco-friendly practices to reduce environmental impact of our office practices, production cycles, packaging and marketing materials.
Community.Giving back by supporting organisations that protect the environment and advance family health and wellness on a global scale.
We work every day to keep focused on our triple mandate because we care about our female friends, sisters, mums, aunties and daughters. Now that we know that we have the power to make a difference, we’ve come to see women everywhere not just as our customers, but as part of our extended Veeda family. Suddenly, two men running a feminine care company seems, well, only natural.
